After a long absence from the area a return to Bu tais was called for.

We all met on time and following a safety briefing and setting convoy order we started what was a fun outing. Trying to avoid the tracks of previous drives we took us to less visited area of the region.

It was a very enjoyable morning. The 3 intermediate drivers had plenty of support and so were exposed to manoeuvres that challenged them to improve their skills and learn to adjust driving to suit the vehicles they have. All did well safely negotiating the high dunes and sometimes technical areas.

It is important to state that such drives only work with good support, so a big thanks to the advance drivers Julius and Nanda who operated within the convoy and to experts Regi, Tim and marshal Jean who guided from the back and sides, and kindly gave demonstrations of what can done once higher level driving competency is achieved .

Michael thanks for organizing the wonderful morning trip. Its always a pleasure to join your trips and expand my knowledge of safely driving in the desert.

All the drivers did a n nice job maneuvering the unique track you chose. You did an excellent job selection a virgin track with beautiful views.

Thanks to Marshal Michael, it was a pleasure drive. The track was challenging, the sand was soft enough to pull down the drivers without showing any mercy..

The trip was closed with scenic view of huge camel herds along the shabka given enjoyable scenery for the drivers & passengers.
