Early Morning Advance at Nahil

Due to some cancellations the convoy included 4 cars only. Everyone arrived on time and after the safety briefing we set the convoy order as under:

Myself as lead
Vpin second lead
Andrei as sweeper
Mikkel Explorer ( was kind enough to join as floating support and later also took part lead)

We started on the left side dunes of Nahil towards east side which has massive big size dunes to practice advance skills.
We spent around an hour exploring the area and practiced side sloping, cresting and switching on large dunes. Everyone did very well except a few second tries. All the drivers enjoyed the area.

Later we decided to head to Nagra from Nahil and Mikkel was kind enough to take a part lead for this journey. On our way to Nagra Mikkel chose a very nice track which was a mix of multiple dunes with switch and cresting practice as well as some plain track.

Finally we reached Nagra around 9.45 am, not much crowded but too many tracks from the previous day.

After spending some time there and playing around, we started our journey back to Sweihan BBQ point and I took the lead for the last patch.

Everyone drove well, there were a few second tries but no major stucks at all.

All in all it was a fantastic trip with great company. Mikkel special thanks for joining the ride and making it more enjoyable us reaching BBQ deflation point by 10.30 am.

Thanks Umar, Vipin and Andrei for a nice trip today. Great track from Umar, good communication in convoy, nice weather - though a bit hot toward the end.

Will definitely need to do a trip some day dedicated to exploring the area between Nahil and Sweihan. Some nice undisturbed crests there.

Yes Mikkel I think we should do it sometime. In between there were many nice dunes for practicing advance drive.
