Exploring Sweihan 11th Feb - Report

So while the jeepes had the jamboree, the big trucks met at adnoc airport petrol station. we moved towards sweihan at 8.15, where we met cherif at sweihan and headed to deflate behind naheel park. The area was initially good but we ended up in a very bushy (thankyou rain) and bumpy area, progress was slow and couldnt make it out to the mosque. After a short lunch break near some trees we headed out.
We started to move towards al khatim and then hit some very nice dunes along the way! searching for the big bowl we headed towards al khatim. maddog got us to the bowl and we burned! fuel inside. Although we decided to head back to sweihan to call it a day we got some really nice dunes and got a bit carried away. maddog had to run to a concert and mamoun was low on fuel so they took the gatch road and headed out. rest continued and we made a dash towards al khatim. We reached al khatim by 6.
My mom, sis and I enjoyed everyones company, it was a really fun day out! hope you all had fun too

We did approximately 95km offroad!!

Maddog: it was great to have you on the trip, that tank can go anywhere!
Mamoun: thankyou for being my second lead during the trip, very well done, looked like you really enjoyed the bowl
Sean: you handled the hummer extremely well, offcourse being low on fuel makes it a tad lighter, thankyou for being the second lead for the second half.
Jayne: a very active passenger and total part of the trip.
juergen: always a pleasure to have you on trips.
Cherif: pajero power!!!! im sure there is a V8 inside, thankyou for sweeping at the back
Susan: good job! so advance wasnt too bad was it, getting used to it?

Thanks, Waqar! Fab day, as usual. Good company always makes the world of a difference on these trips.

Thanks Waqar for this loooooong day out. The shrubs were really anoying but we had a blast in the higher dunes, the big bowls and on our way to Al Khatim.
Nice chit chat in the breaks made the day complete.

waqar thank you so much for a such nice trip i loved it this was my 2nd advance trip and its look like am not ganna miss any of them the bowl wooooooooooooooow the 1st time i saw it i was saying no way i will do this crazy stuff and felt more than enought to be with mood as a passenger with him but this time after i try it i think we need to do a 1 day play trip at it
