Friday Iftar

Four „Friday Iftar” drivers met in Sweihan ready for a „hot” drive. The temperature indicator probably reached the calibrated limit and stayed at 50.

After the first fun we deflated followed by the briefing. We decided to go for a “stuck free” drive. It wasn’t easy to choose this kind of track and often I turned away from a crest to avoid parking.

The “Sea of Sand” claimed a “sea sick” driver. In the shade of a Ghaf tree he recovered within 20 minutes and we continued on our way to Iftar.

Nevertheless we managed three stucks and towards the end we had to deal with “lost air in a tire”.

After air was pressed back into the tire we stopped under the Iftar tent with the star ceiling. The air-conditioning was adjusted to a comfortable temperature. The true silence was only disturbed by a running car engine.

It was a nice and hot drive to Iftar. Thank you all for joining this trip.
