Re: Tillybean Takes on the Terrain REPORT
Ok, I will be the bad guy...sorry but it is for the benefit of the club and trips.
For the info of those who have never had to plan and put a trip together, let me tell you it takes time/planning and many headaches.
Inviting people who the trip leader has no knowledge of is simply not on.
Turning up unannounced, no matter what rank is not on.
Not listening to trip leader or Marshals to stay clear of stucks and not play around in that area is not on.
Not announcing that you are CLEAR after going over a crest is not on. It is downright dangerous.
Straying out of the convoy is dangerous, we have trip rules to cover this and it was mentioned at the briefing.
These are basic things within the club, let us get the basics right and it makes the leaders job so much easier.
After all this was for Intermediates not Newbies or ANITS.
Sam, we are here to support and help you again, we enjoyed the day.

Re: Tillybean Takes on the Terrain REPORT
btw, just forgot to mentioned: thanks to MAC for his quick advise on my motor indicator coming on on the dashboard.
couldnt walk the talk and rush back home since my TJ refused to get into 3rd gear, so i was snailing home at 60kmh..
anyhow, great day and appreciated to be surrounded by people that know what they do!
