Refreshing Early Friday Trip Report 04/11/11

11 sleepy offroaders met at 8:00 am and headed out from the meeting point on time to have some fun.

After the usual formalities, we hit the sand and increased the pace gradually as the confidence of the drivers were building up.

Another arranged event as known in my trips, we passed by a baby camel born before few minutes and it's mum

, hope you got good pics of them as I didn't have the camera with me.

It was a lovely day out there and the temperature was nice. And as we headed deeper the sand became softer, but all our newbies did well.

At 11:00 we reached the road again for some of us to leave, and we continued for another half an hour then headed towards the station.

Thanks to Waqar who I wouldn't be able to arrange the trip without his support, MegaMoe for your presence and supervision of the convoy (you have a nice ride mashalla), Thabit & Sam for sweeping and insuring the convoy was swiftly moving in the back, and last but not least to Osama for the 2nd lead (you did very well).

Thank you all for participating in this trip and hope you enjoyed it, would love to see the pics taken by many camera men & women, and definitely eager to see the video by Waqar. Till then, see you on the sand soon

Definitely an early morning start but we were rewarded with a well planned trip, the sight of a new born baby camel, some great sand and a wonderful day in the desert.

Thanks to Desert_Hawk - you are a great leader and I really enjoyed my time today and thanks for letting me join at such short notice

Waqmaster - thanks for coming along so the trip could happen

and lovely to see your mum again after all this time

And thanks to everyone else who came along. Some really great driving by all our newbies and I was impressed by how you handled your cars.

See you in the sand again very soon.

Dear Desert_ Hawk

Thanks a lot for the lovely morning trip. This trip, there were multiple 1st's for me .....

I had my son joining me for the 1st time on a off-road drive. He simply had a blast going up & down the dunes, getting to see the newly born camel calf (another 1st). He enjoyed meeting and playing with Haider, and now wants to know when he is going to meet Haider again

Other special reason ....... Under your lead I broke my chain of 'getting stuck - needing recovery'

so today was my 1st offroading trip where I didnt get stuck

As always, its a sheer pleasure to be on the same trip as you. You being my ANIT lead, with you around gives that additional confidence on the sand

That was really fun.....

I really wished to spend the full day there....

Cool people...great drivers...and best seen ever.

I amused it to the most today, and i am really grateful to all of you...

it was the first off road trip to my company ( a friend and his wife)...and his first comment was "they are well organized"

I loved That...

Once again...i would like to thank you all...you made my day:)
