Newbie - relaxing sweihan Eid cruise 6th November - report

Some in the club calling me jeep killer
I dont know why because I never killed one by myself.

They always do it by their own.

All met on time at the meeting point.
This means one car (me) , and seven jeeps.

We passed gate 13 and we didnt hit the sand yet, I got a call from a member he has an accident with an other member.
Ha , we are still on the gravel road. Ok I and the rest drove back to the two participants.

The steel bumper from one car was bended and we rebended it for driving.
This was a very good negative example for having a save distance.

Sorry for you guys but i hope you did it well back to AD.

The rest of us went to the deflation point a small briefing and we start.
All did it very well so I decided to increase the level to real Newbie. I drove through a little higher dunes and a terrase slip face.

Dessertdawg decide to park and during the recovery. his bootdoor couldnt be close. Then I saw nothing was secured.
I am sure during his ANIT he got the information and the order to secure all the stuff inside. When he did it we go further.

Now I showed them the higher dunes in Sweihan and we found a nice viewing spot.
On the way to the bbq spot dessertdawg decide to park on the crest. Now he has to go to WM that he get a proper recoveryhook with a proper mounting. Why ? His hook passed my car just 10 cm when the hook decide to leave the jeep.

I enjoyed the day with you.
Everybody did very well.

Frank, thanks a lot for this exciting trip.

Unfortunately it starts a little bad as you already mentioned, but the rest of the trip was stunning.

Your short break at the viewing spot was very wise decided. The view from this point including the time where the sun produces a beautiful shadow on the dunes was the high light of this trip. Driving wise, it was the long up-dune slope. Where you need to go once around the funnel to get enough momentum to fun the slope. This was maximum fun.

I am still smiling about your "relaxing cruise", I want to see ( and participate ) if you plan a "challenging trip". Unfortunately my newbie status will not allow me this, but I am working on it.

Once more, thanks a lot for this trip. Now you make it twice as hard for me to wait till I get my JK back from 7Performance in a couple of weeks.

Yes , nothing to add,

it was a relaxing cruise with quite some recovery action. To be honest , I thougt I would never be able to recover Frankenstein after he was up to the axel in the sand, but with some tips of Frank it was no Problemo.
I really enjoid the trip and the company, and my brother in law visiting us had the chance to talk in his native language.

All together it was a great trip.
