Report: DUBAI NEWBIE TRIP TOM still on - guys are leading...

What a wonderful day and great company, thank you Jo for your offer without your support we could not make it.

Total number of 20 cars split into too groups , My team included the ANIT who got the ANIT breifing half an hour earlier to the meeting time.

All did veeeeeery well, and with few technical stucks we managed to go back home alive.

Sam and Jayne Thank you very much for the great support, Adreyan for the second lead, Abuantar for the nice breakfast,

Serge for leading the 2nd convoy

Shadi It was really nice that you could make it from the airport directly to the defllation point ,

And It was a great pleasure seeing you Xof and wife early in morning, it was really nice of you that you came only to say Hello.

Congratuations to all ANITs for their first star , well deserved

WoW - Absolutely fantastic day in the sand! This is one of my favourites even though I did not drive. Great company and lots of laughs.
A huuuge thank you to Waleed and Serge for doing a night drive to Abu Dhabi to get a car to make this all happen, Jo a huge thanks for lending out your patrol for the day, Waleed great lead in it! There will be some really good pictures coming Jo... Tillybean thanks for coming to Dubai Thursday night and rescuing me, and taking me as your passenger it was so much fun, girlpower at the back of the convoy instead of the front! When the jeep is feeling well we should do a girls lead again!
Really impressed with all the drivers today, so much improvement throughout the day. Great to see so many new faces out in the sand, I hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did and will come back often!! Another huge thank you to all the Intermediate support we had, you did a great job assisting us and it made for smooth running trips.

Waleed thanks for some trainings how to go up and down and also what to do if you meet tree on your track.
Breakfast at outlet mall was nice.

It was really nice to see "old" faces and meet some new.

Thanks everyone for joining today's Dubai trip!

Second convoy did really well today! We had great time in sand. Amazing weather in the morning. Almost no stucks

...

We made some nice technical spots to practice in tight spots. I was very impressed with all the members of second convoy!

Khofoo, thanks for second lead, good job! And glad you have your Jeep back on trail.
Dr. Soto, thanks a lot for sweeping, and winch operation's, it would be lot more tough without your and your sleeping passenger's

support. Cherif if was a pleasure to see you with us today!

Hangtin and Khofoo - nice recovery technic evolved today

Thanks to everyone who was there today, it was really nice, Xof with Stang and 276c GPS (sad no offroad - but good to see you to say HELLO!), Tillybean joining from AD and giving Jayne a ride, Waleed leading ANIT's, Shadi rushing from the airport to join us, ... guys, girls it was really nice day out with AD4x4! And weather was amazing (until 11:30

)

Hope to see some pictures and vid's from 2nd convoy. I could not do any, my camera died, and my BB was gone with the wind (joining Waleeds convoy

)

Maybe ill get used to wake up for morning trips (only summer time!)

my feet are burning

! but it was so refreshing going back to the sand! already excited for next time.

thanks for all the help with my engine oil (I learnt a lesson, that I need to be a bit more involved in what happens underneath the car's lid

) i also learnt how to open and close my lid....

that's how uninvolved I am.

What a simply fantastic day out in the sand today. A huge thank you to everyone who made it happen, but especially to:

Jayne for announcing, coordinating, planning and being my passenger and co-driver today. Thanks for the place to stay which meant I woke up early, refreshed and ready to go

Hope your jeep is soon mended and agree that we should do a joint lead. Girl power all the way!!

Waleed for joining, making the effort to get a car and then leading us out today. Really enjoyed your route and the dunes, sand, and technical bits and bobs were excellent. Never followed you before - definitely wont be the last time that I do either. I had such a great time.

Serge for taking the other group and getting us all in and out of the sand. Really nice to see you again and loving the Jeep.

Thanks also to the Intermediates and everyone who gave help and support today. Our convoy flowed smoothly because of you so thank you.

And to everyone else - a really big thank you. Today was just an amazing day with lots of fun. Really nice to see everyone working as a team when we needed to and being one family. The sand was tricky in places, but the confidence levels in everyones driving improved as we went along and it was great to watch from the back and see how much we all were enjoying out time.

And finally, a huge congratulations to our new Newbies. Welcome to the family.

See you in the sands again really soon.

Hi everyone!

Thank you, thank you... Thank you!!

Although we only had 4 hours of sleep due to job requirements and our energy levels were a bit low we had a great time! We learned a lot, and really looking forward for the next time! The Disco didn't enjoy as much as we did once the rear end got a face lift but now it's time for a upgrade!

Thanks a lot to all the marshals for organizing the tripand constant cheering up and motivating, thanks to everyone for such a warm and friendly reception, for all the hints and help... And thanks a lot for the ice cream! It was just what we needed!
