Dubai 15 June Morning Adv Trip

All on time to meeting place, we met at deflation point with gps coords sent yesterday, so nice to see all arrive such trick learned from Chief + Viking...

Some arrived straight from sand, night drive and camp

Started with briefing and as we had 2 intermediates (Invites) with us, Adrian + Salim, made sure all clear on expectations and usual dos and donts..........We got under way from near to big red and headed up towards and over/around big red...and had lots of ups/downs/rounds and rounds, side cresting and lots more of the same, everyone woke up .....then we had a car get tired so parked it in nice spot saved its location in gps and carried on, 1 driver now as extra passenger and co-pilot....We headed to pink rock then down to shade of a tree for some morning tea or late breakfast for some....The Shadi had a lead (to int level as instructed) out to the road, well done great track and for sure just right level then cross the road and headed back into a nice set of dunes, very soft and tricky area to climb through...then car issue for Salim, easily fixed but saw cap from power steering pump had come off having had exp of this before we headed back down to the road before risking getting sand in (was temp fix with plastic and tieclip ) then Salim headed on road home...
So we then headed back to collect sleeping beauty.....Dr Sotto given lead form road back to pink rock, nice work,good lead....but remember your followers not all in 2012 Jeep great track .....From pink rock we were lead by Waleed back to resting car...nice lead, very fun following ......After collection of car, oil and rest she started and headed out....small stuck for 2 of us and then exit safely...

Drsotto - Nice driving in modded 2012 Jeep good start to many leads ahead.....

Salim - great work in the H3, I know it well and you shown it can go lots of places...great work...Abdullah-time to get a 4x4, nice to see you again

Absoulutely fantastic day thanks Sean!!! Everyone was feeling real tired at deflation, we woke up quick in the first 5min ... Really enjoyed being 2nd lead again, and had sooooo much fun

Again one more amazing trip with agreat company. all did very well , thank you Sean for organizing such.

It was really a successfull implementation of the idea of giving the chance to our new advanced to lead under our close supervision having one of the Marshals as a second lead (even if it was only for a short time or short distance). this is giving them the real feeling of the difference between driving and managing/ leading a trip.

and based on our feedback they might have an idea on their action plan towards enhancing their management skills along with the driving capabilities as part of their preparation for the next level.

Hi Sean,

many thanks for the invite and your guidance and confidence in me , I really had a great time. as always your trip is great fun and safe. The H3 made it home and no problems so far , will be taking it for a full service today and should be all good for next week.
Shadi, Waleed, Sharif, Jane, Dr. Sotto, Adrian and Malte (great drivers and Great company).
