REPORT:Measure the max heat with Tawalbeh in Liwa 16/6/2012

[Tawalbeh]

All met on time except SSS and Shadi who apologized in the morning. We started at about 10 am and reached the deflation point by noon time. Here is the report in Q & A style:

Q1: Was it a challenging drive ?
A1: Way more than what you can imagine The sand was like a powder everywhere and on all altitudes and the worst was inside the bowls. We had to do 2nd and third tries in areas we normally can make it so easily in a regular day. The vehicles' performance have also decreased due to the fun with the cooling system and super high temperature and dryness.

Q2: Did you break your maximum heat record of June 2010 (that was 56.5 degrees) ?
A2: YES

Q3: What is your new max heat record in empty quarter desert (UAE side - Liwa) for June 2012 ?
A3: 58.5 degrees

Q4: Who were your champions?
A4: Eisa, Zeer and dr soto

Q5: Did you all came sound and safe?
A5: Yes except for my car that arrived back home on recovery vehicle: lol: . At the end of the trip a radiator leak started.

Q6: Was it fun?
A7: Oh yeah... Big time

Q7: Do it again ?
A7: Sure. Next one will be in July.

Note: The date in the guage below is not accurate ..it shows Sunday but the actual day is yeterday Saturday 16 June 2012..

Thanks Tawalbeh for the crazy trip and yes Arabia it was very-very-very-very hot
my car temperature gauge gave up and it went to zero temp. after 1 hour of driving
