Report Dubai am Intermediate trip Big Red-Fossil Rock

Fantastic day in the sand with the bigger Dubai group
Both the Dubai newbie and intermediate trips met up and headed to deflation, unfortunately Sean could not make it due to a cold. Shadi gave both groups the breifing (thanks Shadi) a good demonstration on gravity with the 'newbie' sized dune Cherif and I arranged meeting points for breaks, it was fun to catch up with the bigger group at Pink Rock and Fossil Rock, great company everyone

I really enjoyed our intermediate drive, a nice drive with training stops on the way. It started with a brief on the area, dune formations, landmarks, access roads and gps coordinates. I led us through the bigger dunes in different areas and the rest was a combination of part leads with myself as 2nd lead. Shadi predominately led most of the trip today with a 15min lead from Adrian also.

Sarah - really nice work at 2nd lead for me, great space awareness and communication. You also did a good job at sweeping when the others were leading, we finally managed to get a recovery, nicely done and I really liked your communication style.

Shadi - your jeep has a slower mode wow Nice to see, you picked a great track and added some good leadership skills to the drive - nice communication with the sweeper.

Adrian - well done on your lead, you picked great tracks, you are definately ready for a bigger part lead, look forward to the next one.

Waleed thanks for joining us, you added lots of value at our training stops thank you.

Instead got sometime to ready other toys inside prep for surf trip...as not well couldnt have survived the early morning and heat outside and back to work tomorrow..

Another fabulous day out in the desert with the AD4x4 family. I enjoyed every moment as I always do. Great company and brave musketeers.

All really did very well, assigned tasks are successfully accomplished and every one showed his capability in, listening, learning and sharing responsibilities. Really your skills are dramatically improving.

It was really nice to see you all and spend the time together till the end of the day

Sorry for my late reply. Work keeps getting the way of my personal life tch! Lol! We had a great trip on Friday with all the gang. Thanks for giving me chance for 2nd lead and sweeper, thanks to Shadi for giving me chance to practise my recovery skills and sharing your knowledge on side cresting (my nemesis). Looking forward to the weekend already and the next trip!
