Dubai Int trip 21st Sept Report

We were to be 5..... Jayne , Adrian and I reached deflation point, with Tamer arriving (little late)....millhouse phoned me on the way to advise due to circumstances beyond his control he could not make it.....set 2 alarms next time

We deflated then quick debrief and started......after a short 5km Tamer had car issue, so did U turn and headed back to our entry point, Tamer left and headed home, hope the cars sorted soon and your back in the sand quick....

Then Adrian, Jayne and I started again...we had a good run through to the truck road, all up we had nice 68km of empty dunes only shared with some gazelles....we stopped for nice morning tea under a tree and enjoyed the great temp and company....Adrian and Tamarra, sorry to see you leaving us, hope to see you back in the sand again.......as i was looking so hard for the good spots i found them and soon our stucks started, very soft spots.....then after some more playing in the soft stuff we carried on, with nice run out to the truck road....

Fun Fun fun!! Thanks for a great lead Sean, a quick 68kms and some real fun technical spots in some sooooooft sand Adrian thanks for the recoveries, purely for Tamara's stuck competition of course so that she didn't get too bored
Shadi you would have loved this drive as good as the Al Faqa run we always talk about...
We will really miss you Adrian and Tamara please come back and visit us often and hope you have time to do a AD4x4 farewell this week.... One day soon you will be really driving with us Tamara

Hi Sean - great trip, nice route - enjoyed the soft sand. Tamara explained her chart to Denise when we got back, but could not remember if Sean or Jayne was the orange Jeep - lucky one Sean ! Given the nice photos from Jayne and the many, many briefings Tamara has heard, I think she must now passed Anit and be working towards Newbie ..... in a couple of years she will be able to reach the pedals (oh no, she will no doubt want her own Jeep).

Anyway, thanks for the trip and thanks for the tuition, advice and support over the last few years - coming back for Desnav sounds very interesting (will look into this) - hopefully see you before I go.

Sorry for the delay In response Grzegorz, I have been out of country in a business trip - Just arrived.

My car consumes a lot of gas. It is still do but not at all times which is really strange.
I have taken it to a couple grages who suggested the dealer . i am still runing with my second car looking for a time.
I will keep you posted.
