and Shadi was waiting for us near the deflation point.After short road drive towards Fossil rock, we have met Shadi, and the team was full. Started our deflation, briefing, flags up.. and get to drive. A smooth start, followed by a more tricky dunes, with amazing sceneries. We played for some time around the fossil rock sands. Went up the rock, and started our way towards Faya (Devils Plunge) … got there pretty fast, again change of terrain from easy one to a bit more fast and tricky. Few stops on the way for a smoke and chat.. with the same way we got to Nizwa shops, where we had some shopping, and let Marwan (Mano) go back home (maybe not home) due to commitments.
All the remaining team, went into Badayer sands, and driven towards Area 53. We did not decided to move further to Shweib due to crazy lightning seen from there… so the decision was to stop in the middle and start our BBQ and chat.
By around 9:30 Shadi and Welled went back, while we stayed for another 20 min and started packing. A short night drive out from BBQ spot made the day completed!
Lovely group, with almost no stuck’s … (just one member did have few, and had to be winched..) A lovely BBQ, Shisha, Tea, chat, and discussions about everything
