Report Dubai am Newbie trip thurs 25/10

We all met on time and had deicious donughts for breaky - thanks Roland! 11 cars headed to Al Faqa where Cheif Khaiwi gave us a good demonstration on rock crawling, nice to watch the monster jeep in action, and we started our breifing. It was an absolute pleasure leading you all, an enthusiastic group who all showed huge improvement as the day went on.

I lead the first half of the trip and Shadi took over leading half way, with myself at 2nd lead. We reached near the exit point with some time to spare so Shadi picked some excellent spots for the group to practice their cresting on, and finished at 12.00. Thanks Rexterra for being our sweeper, nice to see you back in the dunes,

Shadi - really good job on your part lead, you chose tracks well, pitched at the right level for the group, communicated well with the sweeper and chose the right dunes to stop on and talk people through. Thank you also for being a great support at 2nd lead whilst I was leading.
Alezz - Most improved of the day, you listened well, asked good questions and are starting to get the feel of your pathfinder, keep practicing
Saleem - Great work in your TJ you improved a lot during the day, asked good questions, and showed good control of your car
Kris - You are improving every trip and showed nice improvement throughout the day, the TJ suits you!
Ali - Your 3rd trip and you showed really good control of your jeep all day, keep up the good work
Sis and Roland - You both drove the whole trip with ease and in good control

Cheif Khawi a pleasure to have you on the trip, thanks to both you and Sean for your support out the back

Thank you Jayne for the great trip and for the oppotunity to take the lead and for the full support as usual.
I personally had fun spending the day out in the sand, Seening new faces and meeting old friends means alot to me.
Khiwi, what a surprice to see you in the trip, thanks for comming.

Every body did great during the trip, I'm amazed by the ability and driving skills of some members, while some others had a shy start but showed a great improvement at the end.

Inshallah after this week. The part is super simple (a plate with 4 holes in) and so I've had it made. Just waiting for it to be fitted but the holiday season seems to have delayed things.
