Newbie Drive - Al Khazna - Friday 14/06 - Report

We all met up at the Al Khatim ADNOC Station, what started as a small group became a nice little convoy.
It was a hot day and some of our A/C gave up their day jobs! But all the newbies did well, it was a big truck trip with good support team.
Thanks Regis, Bhav and Irfapk for the support.
Alexander, Fadi and Abhay you all drove really well and followed instructions well.

Thanks Marshal Waqar for a nice afternoon trip in punishing weather. However, it is worth mentioning that the enjoyment and fun decimated the weather conditions at the end of day.
My observations as sweeper of convoy:
Tricky but safe track for newbie level, at times challenging to give them opportunity to learn new techniques.
Numerous second tries and few recoveries which were handled by Marshal and his support team in harsh weather conditions .
All drivers did well, followed track and advice where required. The drivers handled their vehicle with confidence and their ability improved considerably by end of trip.
Looking forward to see much more trips like this.
