All met ahead of the meeting time (8:00) because Google severely overestimates the time to travel on Razeen road :)

The convoy consisted of the following drivers who swapped their roles along the way:
- Flagunter (Michal) - Lead (most of the time)
- isham66 (Isham)
- petro (Kevin)
- loefflmj1 (Mark)

The first part of the trip was a combination of sabkha and easy dune warmup driving to reach the area that we wanted to explore. The first part of the trip took 1 hour and was positively uneventful but extremely beautiful.

Once we crossed the dusty gatch, we headed straight to the dunes and explored the area south of Um Al Ouch as planned. All drivers did well, there were a few stucks along the way but nothing extraordinary. We encountered all sorts of terrain, from bushy and flat to very high dunes and open playgrounds.

Lessons from the exploration: Definitely an area to do a trip in, but enter the dunes later. It is apparent from the attached images where the fun parts are. Would be an excellent area for both intermediate and advanced trips. It is a bit too far though.

Thanks to Kevin's extra Petrol, everybody made it to Khatim petrol station. It was a long trip, we drove for over 6 hours for more than 100km. Everyone drove very safe, wonderful group, thanks guys!

Amazing trip! New waypoints for me. Great report. Spot on. Very nice area we ended up in. Definitely a return trip is in order and yes you are right it can be accessed quicker. Very clean area. Thanks for letting me lead a little bit, altho no good flow emerged, it was fun. Kevin kicked it for a very intense portion. Isham seems to alway be able to succeed on the first try. Great drivers that day. Thanks Michal for putting this together for us and having the idea. We are slowly making our way further south. Looking forward to the next expedition. More GAS.
