- 8.00am, we all met Badayer Shopes.
- At the deflation points the convoy order set and the convoy stayed 5 minutes for a briefing.
- then we started medium paced drive passing by a few nice dunes and we had the chance to pass by little play areas before the break time where we climbed few steep-ish dunes.
- 12.20 pm we arrived at Badayer shopes and after small chit chat head on the dirt track to tarmac.
The key takeouts from this drive for me:
Positives:
On the way we met another group of junior offroaders. Bulldozer & Tilki and our team helped to recover a rollover car, Nissan Patrol Y62. It was great experience for newbies.
- The different sand dunes that we passed given opportunities to experience dune formations, the role of approach, departure, and break away angles in the cars which is very essential for drivers to improve their technical skills and experienced drivers to enjoy.
- Special thanks to Sinan & Gabor for the support. Convoy was very organized and we didn't get many stucks (just one or two minor stucks ), even though we opted for a very technical route.
Special Thanks to Bulldozer & Tilki for attending the drive and making sure we all drive safely.
Looking forward to the next drive.
