Newbie-Explore 20-75 Feb6 AM Team 1

11 am meet time.
Original trip was scheduled for 1 to 4 for 10 drivers, 25 signed up so decision was made to do two smaller trips. AM AND PM trips. This is report for AM trip with more experienced Newbies.
Time to use knowledge from Int trip.
Lots of drivers. Maybe 10 total. Let’s see Darren, Paul, Sunet, Prameel, Ahmed S, Reji, Simon, Mohamed M. If I missed someone sorry.
So deflated at same gate as INT. 11km from al Mearad ADNOC off of E20. Strip of dune basically starts here. Immediately accelerate through farm gate and go right to get around challenging intermediate territory. Wind around to south side of set of dune. Here is where newbie can begin entering into dunes. More room on south side than north. Plenty of good straight crests to do. Had some stucks. One popout on the way one minute into trip but was handled extremely well, first time participating for some. Each step explained and safety tips were provided. Excellent job. Great driving by the team, Team AM for 11 to 2 drive did amazing.
What’s nice about this area is it easy to increase level by just ever so slightly moving to the north as you proceed East. If there is a fork in the road and you want to bump the trip up go left northern direction or if you want to keep same level or tired from previous stucks then just go right and stay more south while heading East. It is quite simple. Not a great area for ANIT. I would not recommend. Not enough flat space. But newbies with 2 to 3 trips not a worry. So made it all the way just in time.
Awesome trip. Drivers did great. Look forward to doing another one there with very experienced newbies with 8 to 10 rides or more. That would be interesting.
