Al Qua calling Intermediates+ 12/03/21

We had some cancellations leading upto the trip.The drivers arrived on time. It was a first trip to Al Quaa for most of the drivers, so we had a detailed briefing and started off tacking some of the smaller dunes.

Given that all of the drivers had done more than 8 INT drives, the track was selected at an INT+ level . Its a fun to be in Al Quaa and not do side cresting but we managed to find quite a lot of side sloping action.

Couple of big bowls were entered to learn to get out of bowls by building momentum spirally around the bowl. The drivers demonstrated good willingness to learn and excelled in the challenges in a safe way.

This trip helped the drivers to build trust in their machines to do what seemed to be difficult challenges easily through timely gear changes and high/low decisions.

We exited around 5.45 pm with about 40 km of driving. All drivers did well and thanks to Ahmad for a solid sweep support.
