Trip report Advance Night drive 23 March

We met up at 18:30 PM for some night cresting in a “secret” area somewhere between Khatim and Abu Dhabi – Sweihan road, newly discovered by Marshal Mark in his effort to explore all parts of Abu Dhabi desert that we would normally not go to. And this is a nice area with flowing dunes which make it suitable for all levels driving. Very few bushes, but some rocks that one need to look out for.

We spent good 2.5 hours exploring the area in the night, first half of the trip led by Mark and second half by myself. Mark had a brand new bumper that he decided to test to the limit, with good results. Few second tries and couple of recoveries, otherwise all went really well. Good area, and we will be back, night and day.
