Due to a higher participation rate, I had requested Marshal Emdoc for additional support to split the convoys.

This report is for the convoy I led and Marshal Emdoc would add his trip report separately.

While the trip was to start at 6.30 am, an early morning fog and a vehicle issue led to a slightly delayed start.

This trip was specifically planned to try longer slide slopes and hit bigger dunes and bowls . Good progress was made while we touched those famous dunes in the area.

The drivers were able to try the slopes multiple times with different gears to learn more about the handling and gear selection.

While the area is still bumpy and we had steady company from another club and their extreme drivers, all in all, it was a good outing.

We had some second tries, a self recovery , a rope recovery and a push recovery and were able to exit safely by 11.30 a.m.

The drivers did really well and showed good application and sensible driving.

Ajesh, Thanks for a wonderful trip....Started with driving in FOG...Dead bowl was a great experience....Long side slopes & high climbs...lots of learning experience with good enthusiastic drivers.

Sand time is good time.....waiting for another one.
