Trip Report - Goodbye Spring Season Newbie Drive PM 2 Apr

We all met at Khazna deflation Pt at 1430. Some of the participants arrived 15 to 20 minutes late (Please ensure you reach in time at assembly point, if not, inform trip leader that you are late or unable to join trip). A total of 17 cars registered for this trip (one no show).

1 Expert (AsifPadela)

11 Newbies

We split the trip into two convoys, No 1 Convoy (Newbie) Led by me and 2nd Convoy (ANIT) Led by Marshal Fido Dido. Convoy 1 Report is as follows:

Convoy 1 (Newbie)

My convoy comprised following:

1 Marshal ( Lead)
1 Expert ( Asifpadela)
5 Newbies (Iliyan, marionv, DCol, Ajay and Rpadela)

We started our trip after safety briefing and setting up of convoy order. Iliyan was my second lead and Asif (Expert) was official sweeper of convoy. Thanks Iliyan and Asif for solid second Lead and sweeper. We started slowly with smooth and easy track for newbies in the direction of Khazna Trees (Easterly Direction). I increased the level later for learning new skills and negotiating obstacles. We had numerous second tries but no stucks. All did very well and showed confidence in handling their vehicles. We ended trip in time at 1815 at inflation point. Some drivers left after completion of trip whereas we sat for BBQ/Chit Chat and enjoyed delicious BBQ.

I am extremely thankful to Marshal Adiga, FidoDido, Pshasha, Asif (Expert) and Redbeard (Advance) for supporting the trip.

Thanks Irfan for setting up the trip. The track was well selected, especially towards the end with new challenges for the abled Newbie's. Everyone drove well. See you all next time.
