The drivers showed up on time with some serious offroad lights enough to light up the whole of Sweihan desert. After breaking the fast, the trip started by 7.15 pm.

We spent quite some time sloping through the pre gatch stretch and the drivers showed good control and application.

This encouraged an attempt to reach Nagra through the bigger dunes. This track was a little more challenging with a mix of technical and high rev areas. Happy to note that all did great and barring a couple of assisted recoveries and few second tries we reached Nagra in good time.

The bull dozer effect on the base of Nagra has reduced now and a nagra climb is technically possible .

We returned through a relatively sedate track to exit by 10 pm.

It was a fun mid week break and the smooth flow of the convoy ensured we did some 42 km of happy desert driving.

Thanks to the support time for their help and good work by the second lead and sweeper to hold the convoy together.
