We all met ontime and Chris (Cannonball) kindly agreed to help spit the large group and take a second convoy. I'll let Chris post his own trip report. 

We led the group into the larger dunes of upper Bu tais and being an intermediate + trip we began in the technical high dunes of the area.  Once all were warmed up we then made our way to the more open areas to practice faster paced bowl entry and  exits and high side sloping, every so often stopping for breaks to reflect on the drive and discuss technique.

For the return leg, Tommy took over the lead and charted a fine route back to the inflation point with a mixture of technical and flowing tracks. After a total of 62kms we finished the drive around 12.

Our intermediates  had a good workout learning both vehicle control  and how to safely  manoeuvre  through technical areas. Well done.

Thanks to Christophe for a solid second lead, to Tommy for fine sweeping and a good part lead, and to Rene for providing very welcome support to the convoy.

Thanks Michael for this well planned intermediate morning drive and the opportunity to support and part lead.
Although it was at times quite demanding our brave intermediate drivers mastered all challenges.
Nice to see Rene again.

It was my first trip in a while and I enjoyed being back - and trying out the new car!

A challenging intermediate drive, with some technical areas and a track that required focus. All the drivers did well and mastered the drive - well done.
