Sweihan Advance early morning drive 28 May

Myself, Eagle, Scoozy and lanzki met up at Sweihan BBQ at 05:30 am for an advance drive. Weather was nice, +24 degC and we go to see the sun rise while deflating. Well worth the effort to get up early for a ride a Friday morning.
This was Eagle’s first advance drive since upgrade from intermediate, so I held a brief focused on the slide crest techniques. We then took off with lanzki second, followed by Eagle and Scoozy in the back. First part of drive was in lower dune regions, practicing “falling off “ crests. Eagle showed comfort with this so we started practicing approaches to side cresting, gradually increasing the level and hitting bigger dunes. We made a few stops on way and were back at Gate 12 for inflation around 8:30, at the time it was starting to get hot.
There were no issues during this drive (except when I managed to get everybody into a bowl with no exit..), I was happy to see drivers choosing safety first and choose to go down instead of fighting gravity, this is always the right thing to do. Rather 10 second tries than risking something.
Well done everybody, especially Eagle on his first advance drive made big progress. Lankzi, very solid drive and Scoozy thanks for joining and support.
