after spending Thursday night counting stars over pink rocks, i met the team @ second Dec cafeteria at 6:45AM (i was 10 minutes late coming out of the desert).

after a quick briefing, we lined up and started over.

Mustafa as convoy lead, Abdulla as 2nd lead, Kayra, Afham, Sandsailor, Sohail, , Shoaib, Gabor (Sweeper)

Marshals: Tilki and Myself.

i will leave the track highlights for mustafa below to add, however, drivers were extra capable and some are ready to get introduced to the higher level.

1- mustafa had done a good lead and communication are kept with second lead and sweeper.
2- Emri, Engin; you have done an excellent drive and showed a good control, seems you need to prepare for the next level.
3- sohail and Shoaib done very well despite their heavy toys (patrol and Tahoe)
4- needless to say, Abdulla and gabor as usual your support brought every thing to b easy.

and finally marshal tilki it was a pleasure having your valuable support and guidance ( also the tea was amazing)

Thank you so much for your trust in me leading my 1st intermediate drive. I had a lot of fun being among my club members. We started the slowly pace till I picked up my rhythm with the rest of drivers. Soon after, we target the high dunes of big red. We had several 2nd, and a couple of popouts; Emre and Afham (Congrats) which was handled superbly by the team.

Everyone showed good command of skills.

Emre and Engin, very good driving guys. Fasten your seatbelts for more interesting tracks.

Another great morning drive, thanks again Mustafa and Abdo.

Fast track with a few high climbs and side sloping. Good opportunity to test some skills, practice more and learn new others. Hit traffic at times but in a controlled manner.

Had Afham, our only newbie driver, infront who did a pretty good job coping with the tempo and the track despite being at the right place, wrong day. For sure it also thought me a few things following him in this track with such pace. Always a pleasure driving with Abdulla and following his smooth 2nd lead. Watching Sohail and Soaib playing with their big toys so easily was also a sight.

Joined the popcorn club with 1st ever popout of my own, at last. I know exactly why/how it happened, and even more importantly I now know how to fix it myself. New skill learned . Helped the 2nd popout case of the day for Afham with more comfort and confidence as a result.

Also surprisingly had Tilki driving with us (another right place wrong day case) and had the pleasure of tasting his delicious tea accompanied with his feedback/wisdom. Of course having Gabor in the convoy means, issues handled smoothly and learning new things every time

Another morning well spent with friends on the sand!

This must have been my third drive with Marshal Abdo and second drive with Mustafa in the lead. We started slow and picked up the pace getting close to the pink rock. I don't remember seeing pink rock and the 2nd Dec Cafeteria this crowded before. There was literally traffic in the desert and with careful coordination of the experienced Marshals Abdo and Tilki, Mustafa in the lead and Gabor as the sweeper, we moved smoothly without any incidents and continued enjoying the drive.

Getting involved in the repair of two pop-outs was a good learning experience for me. Special thanks to Marshal Tilki for the tea service after we fixed Emre's pop-out.

At the end of this drive, I felt I got more connected with my Jeep. My confidence level increased especially in climbing heights and side sloping.

Overall it was a great learning experience and another fun drive.
Thanks to the Marshals Abdo and Tilki, the lead Mustafa, second lead Abdullah and the sweeper Gabor for making this a safe and fun drive.
