ANIT/ Newbie Saturday am Trip Report

We all met on time, with the ANITS arriving earlier than others. We did the ANIT briefing, than the others joined us to complete the newbie briefing discussing the basics of driving on sand.

Erik joined with his Subaru, after inspecting the car we decided not to bring it on sand because it does not have proper recovery points. Erik was very wise and understanding.

We started on the sand at 6:20 and exited at 8:15 with few breaks in between. We covered a distance of 20 kms where we practiced controlling our speed as we climb or descend, and as we tackle front crests.

Welcome to the Club Farah and Cedrick to the club. You both did great and shown good control of your cars.
