Early morning intermediate at Khatim

Lovely weather and nice people are the two most important ingredients for a successful off-road trip.
Today I was lucky with both, plus as a bonus got the support of one of the senior marshals of the club; Mr. Adiga.
Our convoy got together at 5:30 am. Details of the convey:
Jithesh - Lead
Ianski - 2nd Lead
Sameer
Bitto
Shajumon
Umer (sweeper)
Zak (Expert) Floating sweeper
Supporting Marshal: Adiga
After the briefing, the drive started by 5.45 am. White sand, technical dunes and soft sand are some of the peculiarities of this area.
First one hour, we played south of lane 3411. Ianski provided excellent second lead support. Zak and Adiga managed the occasional refusals and second attempts.
In the second leg we moved to north of lane 3411 by crossing the gatch road. Though initially we got nice and flowing dunes, we had to counter a semi technical bushy area. We had to manage the sole recovery of the trip also in this area, which was perfected by Bitto under the supervision of Zak and Adiga.
The intermediate members of the convoy got ample opportunities to learn & horn the skills of slide sloping on some of the nice dunes of the area.
All the drivers did really well.
The trip concluded at the Water Tank at 8.20 am
Big thanks & salutes to the entire convoy members. A special thanks to Marshal Adiga to join the trip and provide valuable advices to the members.
Looking forward for more trips with you guys.
