Liwa Camping With Khaiwi Dec 30-31 2021

Post by khaiwi »

Liwa is liwa period.

With a few last-minute changes registrations and cancellations, we met on the way to the area and after deflating, we drove a few minutes to our classic campsite with great scenery and slightly far from the loud noises.

This year more people are in the area and could see some have camped a bit close to the spot we always use. This means next year we have to move further.

Had a nice relaxing evening with no moonlight and all went to sleep for the next day sand drive.

Friday Morning, all woke up, some had to pack and head back for their personal commitments and the drive started around 9 am with Mustapha, Davor, Maher, Bishar, and last but not least Ahmad Rai taking the sweep of the convoy.

The Buldozer tracks were devastating yet we were able to enjoy the area had a great track all in all until the Suzuki dev=cided to give upon the Liwa Dunes with powder-soft sand. That's when we took the easiest track out passing by a restricted area and getting escorted out.

Had to cut the trip one day shorter as there was not enough interest in two days camping.

I would like to thank you all for joining the trip and enjoying Liwa for the last day of 2021.

Pictures will be posted asap and videos will follow in a few days later.
Did 650 Off Road trips so far (26- Jun-2022) and counting

If you haven't been to LIWA, you haven't seen the desert yet......Dare you follow me? !!!!

And if you haven't seen Jeeping in Moab, you don't know what you're missing.

Never settle for less....

Chief thank you so much for an epic couple of days.
The camping spot was breathtaking; only got to see what it is like in the morning, and the company was even nicer. Track was spectacular, I honestly learned and experienced Liwa differently than last year and the day I spent with my friends before you guys arrived. Definitely looking forward to the one hopefully this season.

Regards,
Mustafa

It was an amazing two days with chief . Myself, Shaju and Chris met Chief at gas station and head towards the camping spot.
From there we went to see the Liwa event, which was dream come true for me to see the breathtaking live event. There were fireworks cracked above my head. Met so many friends at Liwa festival . Ahamed visited our camping spot.
At morning with special coffee from Ahamed Rai and Mustafa, had a very constrcutive discussion with chief. Loved all the great moments.

Drive started with mention convey position, sand was soft and dunes were unprediticable. Always amazed by the track took by chief.
We had good set of drivers , played at many areas. This was an memorable day .

hope to see many more such drives.
