New Years Yellow Truck

We met up at the deflation and took some time to enjoy the weather and catch up with each other. After a briefing about the area and our planned route we set off into the dunes. Taking an indirect route to the Yellow Truck we enjoyed crossing the huge sand dunes and wide open space from different directions. Finally reaching the Truck we chilled out for a while and had some lunch and took some photos. From the Yellow Truck we headed to the Liwa water reserve, We switched the convoy order and increased the level slightly as everyone was more comfortable with the terrain and very soft sand. We reached the gatch road on time and headed to the highway from there. Everyone was excellent with controlling their cars and communication. We only had a couple of stucks which required snatch in the very soft sand.

Thanks Zak for organizing this trip to the yellow truck and the water storage project. It was great fun on the large dunes! Looking forward to the next trip.
