We had a lovely short notice trip today from Sweihan to Khazna. Our Convy consisted of:
- ossme (lead)
- Carlos (2nd lead)
- Feras
- Deborah
- Ahmed (sweeper)
- MAGDY (roaming support)
Due to Google's strange routing, some members confused the location, and we had to start a bit late (8ish AM). after deflating, briefing, and convoy selection, we started worming our way through the dunes. The starting area was bushy since we started from the Animal Sanctuary side. But things improved as we started moving into the dunes.
We were able to reach the crescent, death, and 360 bowls. We had a great time, and apart from a minor transmission overheating issue with Deborah's FJ, everything went smoothly. The team did outstanding. after the 360 bowls, we dropped to the gatch road and headed towards Khazna. The trip finished at approx 12 pm.
