We met 06:30 h at Gate 12. Temperature was very pleasant. After trip & safety briefing we started by warming up in the dunes between Gate 12 and the radio tower.

There where still some bulldozer track remains that we had to navigate and also the general offroad activity level in the area is quite high. We didn’t see any other cars but their tracks with deep ruts that made driving sometimes less pleasant compared to virgin sand.

After reaching the gatch road I decided to head South to the higher dunes in the distance. As hoped there were less tracks but still nice and high dunes. We practiced side sloping on high dunes and also long steep climbs. We had a lot of fun and all drivers managed well and practiced driving in different gear settings.

Jean then took over the lead and safely guided us to the BBQ point where we finished the trip at 11:00 h.
