We all got together on a very hot afternoon. Having the safety briefing swiftly done, we head in the desert as follow:
1. Mustafa
2. Peter 2nd Lead
3. Amit
4. Baso
5. Sandra
6. Carlo
7. Erick
8. Hazel
9. Emila
10. Shadi sweeper
12. Amir Guest

Despite the long convoy, we still managed a track where everyone got to fun themselves and experiences a bit. Long wheel base trucks got to manage their vehicles crossing straight crests, rest of the experiencing the fast track, and all in all handling the vehicles well in the technical area and descends.

Nevertheless, we still had our fair share of action where Baso’s xtera decided to fail him. Upon recovering it, we had a popout which was swiftly fixed. Soon after, and while towing it out, we had another popout. After fixing it, the third popout happened. I left Shadi, Amir, and Baso then inside to handle and dropped the convoy back to the shops as we were very close to the gatch road. Soon enough, Shadi, Amir, and Baso found their way to the gatch with Baso’s car being towed. We ensured having the recovery picking Baso’s car from the shops, and we called it a day.

Thank you Peter, Shadi, and Amir for the extra done yesterday. You guys saved the day honestly.

Abu Dhabi friends, thank you for joining the drive. Indeed pleasure driving with you.

Emilia and Sandra, welcome to AD4x4 family. Good driving yesterday and looking forward to seeing you on the next one.

Mustafa

Once again a great example of the way AD4x4 look after each other. I experienced it at a personal level last weekend and this weekend it was Baso. Again the guys, and girls, of AD 4x4 were there, lending tools, offering advice and helping out a fellow member. The desert is a harsh environment, but when you know you have your back covered it is an amazing place to visit and drive through.

Thank Mustafa for organising another great drive and it was great to see more women drivers out there. Well done ladies

Also, hope I didn't bore everyone with my "Jeep History" training session ;o)

We all entered the desert together and we all exited together; as it should be.

Always happy to join trips with the club. We as family faced some issue. Drive was good learning for a lot of us. But at the end with whatever we faced we exist together. Looking for more with the lovely group. Welcome for new members and happy 2 c new faces every time

We had a fun and sometimes fast drive with a few new challenges thrown at us. The Xterra had a rough outing with the throttle body getting choked, multiple popouts and eventually a very shredded tire. The entire group was very patient and supportive, Mustafa, Amir and Shadi just did not give up and eventually we got out in one piece. The X is undergoing treatment and will be ready to drive with you this weekend...fingers crossed !
Must say its a great group and I look forward to many more drives together.

First time offroad driving in Dubai with AD4x4, I had fun & learnt so many things. Can't wait for the next challenging trip again. 👍🏻
