Being very misty when we met up, we had the time to hold a thorough briefing covering all aspects of advance level skills and explain the purpose of the day. As the mist started to lift we set off to put theory into practice.

Littered with set pieces and constant breaks for discussion and feedback the team practiced all forms of cresting. And as confidence grew we started to piece together maneuvers to create flow.

By 9: 30 the heat of the morning started to grow fiercer, so we slowed the pace and headed back to deflation.

Despite being a trip more focused on instruction and practice than adrenaline or pure exhilaration, it was an enjoyable morning that readies the new(ish) advance for future adventures.
