Dxb Recovery Front or Back Newbie

We all met at the shops at around 6:15. After having the tires deflated and safety briefing done, we entered the desert at around 6:30. The target was to reach iftar bowl, therefore we set a fast pace cruising between the dunes and staying on top of round/flat ridges. The convoy was doing exceptionally great despite the few 2nd tries. With the confidence picking up, i increased the pace a bit and changed the choice of tracks especially that we exit a ditchy soft sand area into clean and clears one where we enjoyed the flow between the crests. Just a couple of 100 meters from reaching iftar bowl, one of the drivers started suffering from motion sickness, so we decided to start heading back. Along the way, we had to enter a small bowl and exit with a straight crest, only that the sand was too soft and was very challenging for Baso, which led him to a nasty stuck on flat sand. Having this recovered, we crossed the soft sand area towards badayer shops mosque side, also along the way Amit decided to take a dip in the same ditch a member tested yesterday. Guess this track to be avoided.. after Dimitry done a great job recovering Amit, we reached the exit with a big smile on our faces and a lovely spirit.

awesome drive, didn't realize how close we got to the Iftar bowl. One item to add to the off-road kit - motion sickness tablets for passengers and other drivers. you never know when it hits you.
