After a sunrise deflation with the roosters, we split into our convoys of Newbie ++, Intermediate 101, and Advance 101, for the safety briefing. We set off into the dunes with the sun at our back and started to enjoy a technical cruise around the dunes. Once we got into the open areas we picked up the speed and also started to practice some small side slopes and harder climbs and descents. About half way through we found some nice trees to relax under and enjoy a chit chat while enjoying a drive by of the advance convoy.
Every one did very well, no stucks and only a few 2nd tries. Was a pleasure driving with all of you and a great way to start the day.

Hard Newbie Razeen Road (Advance convoy)

Thanks Zac for organising this trip. I took the Advance 101 trip to introduce Adam and Bitto to crest crossings, the other drivers were advance.

The team consisted of :

Myself "John" Leader

Adam** Prado
Bitto** X Terra
Paul *** Silverado (sweeper)
and the pleasure of having the support of Marshals Khiwi and Michael

I started the trip slowly, which didn't stop me from getting stuck, the sand was soft in places. We had a few second attempts but everyone drove very well. We rode over small ridges and over higher ones safely. The two intermediates did very well and will soon be ready for the level. Don't forget to get your book signed, validate your equipment and keep it up to date. It was a quiet and enjoyable trip in good company.
