Fri 9/9/22 Al Faya Intermediate Night Drive

We met 18:30 h at the radio tower, the entrance was a little more challenging than usual as the wind has built a small dune behind the barrier. Nevertheless all drivers made it into the sand.

Weather was nice and the sun about to set. After safety and trip briefing we made our way straight to the East into the dunes warming up. As everyone was doing well and all participants were experienced night drivers, we increased the pace and fun.

At about 20:00 h we had a longer break after which we turned around and drove towards the Al Faya road. We had a few stucks on the way back but all managed well by the team. We reached the road at about 21:45 h 3 km North of the starting point.

It was a fun trip and I would like to thank Dan for an excellent second lead and Davor for a solid sweep and John for his support and company.
