Al Faya To Khatam Newbie PM Trip 17/09/2022

We met all on time 3:30 pm at Faya Defilation point.

The convoy comprised following members:

1. Official Support (Marshal Adiga, Pashasha, Scorpionita, Irfan)
2. Lead by Kamran 143 (Marshal)
3.Afsal001 (Advance) Tabreznizam_fj Official Sweeper
4. Cibyjacob (Intermediate) Second Lead
5. renaud91, Hansi, Falk Wottawah, Fkhan, Anasalsharief, francoisb, Lowell, adiljk (Newbies)

Thanks Marshal Adiga, Pashasha, Hadeel and Irfan for your Official support and to join my newbie trip. I gave newbie briefing tell about safety and small demo for straight cresting and how to descend on dune safely and Marshal Adiga add his expert opinion and tips in briefing. We started our trip around at 3:55 pm towards right side medium dunes of Khatam area after setting up the convoy order. Cibyjacob Second lead, Marshal Irfan, Marshal Adiga with Marshal Pashasha and Marshal Hadeel on sides and around the convoy. Afsal001 and Tabreznizam was Official sweeper. We did some straight cresting smooth climbing on medium and normal dunes and took some short breaks. Thanks Marshal Adiga and Marshal Hadeel for nice coffee and tea. We had few second tries and stuck on crest which recovered by the help of supporting Marshals and support team. We played almost 18km. We ended trip near to sunset near at water tank in Khatam. All drivers performed well and drove excellent Cibyjacob did solid second lead.
