We had several first timer today: Marie, Ibrahim, and Mohsen.
And we also had Emad, a club member that strayed away from us for almost 2 years. Welcome back bro.
We started off the trip on a really slow pace till the drivers warmed up and had a feel of their vehicles. With the convoy picking confidence, we started mixing up the track with a bit of straight cresting and maneuvering between the dunes. Despite the tailor made track we had for Mohsen’s stock Nissan Patrol, the vehicle’s bumper still had few hits till it decided to give up. Moreover, a newbie trip wouldn’t be as interesting if we havent had second tries and recoveries (one of the was mine..). Nevertheless, everyone mastered the track today.
Reaching the shops safely and having signatures done, my passengers, few members, and myself headed back inside for bbq. Weather and company were outstanding.
