We met in time at the meeting point, deflated and after trip & safety briefing rolled down the gatch road into the sand. For starters we chose the area to the left of the gatch road that we had explored the previous day with the advance group.

After checking and discussing the surface conditions, wet layer of sand under dry surface, we warmed up driving through some wide open dunes and practiced side sloping on increasingly higher dunes.

After an hour Chrismon took over the lead and continued side sloping and roller-coasting.

The last hour and half Rob was leading the convoy. He took us to the other side of the gatch road and eventually guided us in time safely to the exit.

Both Chris and Rob did an excellent job finding suitable tracks and actively managing the convoy in a safe manner and giving valuable tips and advice to the drivers.

Also the intermediate drivers Daniel, Renaud and Bashar lived up to the challenges and managed all situations in a safe and responsible way and demonstrated good control of their cars.

We had no stuck, just a number of second tries.
