The weather was a bit hot at 3 pm. We all reached on time except for one unfortunate member all due to confusion caused by google map.

All members were newly advanced drivers, so we decided to do a short Adv 101 after the briefing.
We practiced a bit near the deflation point until our member reached and we made the convoy order into:

Ahmed lead
Artur 2nd lead
Suryaveer
Emilia
Drew
Deborah Sweeper
Chris Floating support
Paul adv passenger and photographer

We then had our intermediate briefing and some explanation regarding technical driving and control.
We started heading east targeting medium slopes to practice side sloping but mainly looking for technical dunes. The area was extremely bushy after the rain making it bumpy and challenging.
We’ve had few 2nd tries and self recoveries very well handeld by the drivers.

We took a long break watching the sunset which was spectacular and the weather was perfect.
While it was almost dark, we started heading back. Since all members showed good control of their wheels, I’ve decided to go back on different style from which we came which was fast paced and manuvering between the big dunes of AlKhazna. The way back was definitely smoother as we tried to avoid bushes as much as possible.
We all reached the inflation point by 6:30 pm safely.

All in all it was a smooth afternoon to start the weekend.
All drivers showed good control and excellent skills. Thanks to Artur and Deborah for excellent 2nd lead and sweeping and special thanks to Chris for the support.
Suryaveer, Emilia and Drew were upto the level and thanks for the excellent driving
Drew joined us after a long break from the desert, welcome back.
