Drivers :
Zak - Fortuner (lead)
Sharath - FJ (2nd lead)
Davidt - FJ
Harry - Grand Cherokee
Gagan - JK
Mohammed - Raptor
Janko - FJ (sweep)
Tim - JKU (support)

Tim and I camped out the night before despite being warm at sundown by the time we got into bed the temperature was perfect and we rose well rested to start the day. All drivers arrived ontime and we had a good mix of different types of vehicles. After an initial safety briefing we headed down the track and started our drive. after a warm up we conducted another briefing on straight cresting with everyone doing well and taking it slow and steady with good communication. The area is beautiful with a perfect mix of open spaces, low lying technical dunes and big slopes for climbing and cruising. We had a number of 2nd tries and self recoveries but no stucks due to the quality of the drivers in the convoy. We crossed from the Um al Ouash track to the Butais track and arrived early, with a bit of time to explore we visited the camel graveyard  .

Everyone did really well and thanks for joining.

Thanks alot to Janko for good sweeping and clear instructions and big thanks to Tim for the floating support and tireless instructions.

Hope to see you all soon.

Zak

Thanks Zak for organizing this trip. It was a beautiful and you picked a nice track that let the drivers practice their skills and enjoy the scenery.
All drivers did a nice job. Looking forward to seeing everyone back in the sand.

Excellent night camping with good food and great company.

Tim

I was co-pilot first time in my life and want to say thanks to everyone from today's trip. Special thank you to Zak (for organizing trip and leading us), to Tim (for buying Toyota :D) and to Davidt (for not destroying my car). It was fun, I feel like I'm starting enjoy being in desert and chatting with group-members as much as driving, if not even more.

Thanks to all of you, especially Arthur, for that fantastic experience, Zak and Tim for the high-level organization. That was amazing, and I am in love with dessert now (do not tell my wife 😅).

I had a lot of fantastic emotions during that journey.
