Sunday morning advance in Bu tais

Due to a series of unexpected occurrences the drive started late and the attendance for the drive ended up being a 3 car event.

Nevertheless, having a small group made for good progress through the large dunes of the area.

Starting at the far end of the Bu tais range we crested our way across, around, and over the bowls and dunes until we ran out of time. Nice.

As for our one advance driver, despite being sandwiched between two marshals Artur coped well with the demands and showed sensible driving in a challenging area.

Interestingly, having 3 types of car, an FJ, a Jeep and a Ram, each with its own characteristics, also added to the morning, as the dynamics of each vehicle with its individual pros and cons was shown by the manner in which we all negotiated the different features of the drive.

All in all a good morning out.
