Drivers :
Zak - Fortuner (lead)
Karamjeet - Pajero LWB (2nd lead
Aser - JKU
Ghias - Xterra
Nemo -Xterra
Luke - Pajero
Nanda - Prado (sweep)
Mikkel - FJ (support)
At 6:15 when we started our deflation it was 26 C on my thermostat which was a really pleasant surprise, we didnt feel the sun or the heat until about 9am.
As we had a few fresh Newbies I conducted a full briefing as best I could but as always forgot some things. In good spirits we warmed up with a few straight crests and practiced a couple of recoveries. We made our way to the corner of the heavy vehicle testing center and continued south till we found the nice open dunes.
From here we did a good amount of cruising and swooping with everyone doing extremely well with very few 2nd tries. Area is beautiful for the open space and wide open dunes. At 8:30am I handed over the lead to Mikkel and he did a spectacular job of picking an easy track and communicating all throughout. at 9:30 i took back the lead and we headed back to the tarmac for inflation and round up.
Thanks all for joining. Thanks to Nanda and Karam for the support, and big thanks to Mikkel for steady guidance all throughout.
Till next time
