ANIT to AD 4x4 Season Opening 23 / 24 7 Oct 2023 – Trip Report

It was another mega event in the history of Abu Dhabi 4x4 club. We all met at Sweihan BBQ meeting point at 1430. There were few cancellations and no shows. A large number of new members registered therefore we ended up splitting ANIT convoys into 3 groups led by:

Convoy 1: Adiga
Convoy 2: Irfan
Convoy 3: Kamran

We conducted collective ANIT briefing for all Convoys. Thereafter, formed vehicles in respective convoys and started moving at 1545.
Convoy 2:
Support : Lanzki (Expert) and Varriernanda (Advance)
ANITs: Julezpetelez, Shaban, vpuiul, blamblam, DrBill.

Varriernanda (Adv) was my second lead. Expert Lanzki took over the role of sweeper of convoy, keeping an eye from rear and gave guidance to drivers where needed. The track was smooth and easy keeping in view ANITs level. Numerous second tries but no stuck and pop outs. New drivers did well and showed confidence in handling their vehicles. We ended trip in time at 1730 at BBQ pt and joined season opening party celebrations / BBQ.

another successful event by Abu Dhabi 4x4 . One of our Anit participants, Yasen Al Saadi drove all the way from Ras Al Khaimah to join the trip, really appreciable. Once again congratulating the AD 4x4 management, event organizers, Marshalls and all members for the successful event.
