New Explorers in Town - Newbie

We met at the deflation point at 215 PM. There were 2 last minute drop outs who could not make it. Briefing was done, convoy order was set and we headed off into the sand.

Convoy order was as follows:
**** Roy - FJ
** Gagandeep - Wrangler
* Mike - Pajero
* Max - Xterra
* Simone - Wrangler
* Miguel - Wrangler
* Volodymy - 4Runner
** Rahul - Prado
**** Shaju - Xterra

***** Marshal Irfan - Prado
***** Marshal Adiga - Wrangler

We started nice and easy from the BBQ point. Warmed our selves up. We went though some nice technical areas. As it had just rained the sand was nice and firm for the cars in the front and middle but it got a bit slushy for the cars towards the end. Even after this everyone drove really well and no one got stuck. We crossed the gatch road and headed towards Nagrah dune. As we were heading there from the back side we approached it from the rear and this made it challenging to cross the big dunes considering the track had to be nice and easy. However we were able to cross the big dunes easily and reached Nagrah.

Nagrah dune was a disaster filled with tracks and humps and I could not climb the dune after having multiple attempts. With about 50 minutes to spare we headed back to the BBQ point. We played on the small dunes doing multiple straight crests. Everyone was driving well and no one had gotten stuck till now. As we were looking to do one recovery we found a lone Range Rover stuck in the desert and recovered him. As his gearbox had heated and he could not drive and as the sun was going down we handed over the lone Rover to the advance convoy to escort him out till the gatch.

We then headed back to the BBQ point by 05:40 PM. Everyone drove really well and controlled their cars well. Spacing was the only issue that we faced but we were lucky to have experienced Marshals and Explorers with us .
