Most of the registered members reached the meeting point before the reporting time. A few members were ten to fifteen minutes late. After the safety briefing, the convoy started around 2.35 pm. In the first half-hour, Marshall Irfan took the lead. Then the convoy stopped for the first break and driver's feedback. From there onwards, Marshall handed over the convoy to me.

Our route was from Al Khazna deflation point straight, then left to Gatch road, then again left, and entered the sands. From there, we moved towards the west side, and the convoy ended at Al Khatim around 5.05 pm. We covered above 20 kilometers. It was an exploration trip for me. Many times, Marshall Adiga guided me and took the lead to navigate newbie-level terrain. All drivers did well, with a few second tries and a couple of recoveries, especially in the bigger cars.
