We all met roughly on time, and after a safety briefing we set out into the dunes. A fun time was had by all practicing driving in wet sand with a focus on maintaining proper momentum and stability while side sloping.

Due to a mechanical issue with one car the lead was handed over to marshal John while we accompanied the injured vehicle to the gatch. Other than a popout and a demonstration winch recovery the trip was incident free. And all drivers showed improving skills throughout the drive.

Thanks to all that joined, it was a pleasure to be repeated.

A sound second lead by John Benn and of course great thanks to marshals John, Osama and Thomas for their invaluable help and wonderful company.

Thank you Michael for this wonderful trip through Upper BuTais. It's good to be back in the desert with friends. What a pleasure to lead again, the reflexes haven't disappeared. All the drivers did very well, just a pop out and a few second attempts. And a stuck one for me.
It was a pleasure to see you all again, Ossama, Zac, Maher, John, Gerarh, Adam and all the others.
