Sunday PM Intermediate at Nahil

We gathered at Nahil Deflation point at 15:00 and after the briefing, we started driving at 15:30 in the below convoy order:

Sorry for Eran, whose vehicle broke down just at the beginning of the drive and he had to abort. We also had few cancellations.

We started at the high dunes of Nahil to warm up and then headed to the low dunes from the gatch road on Sweihan direction. We drove for 2 hours and 30 minutes in Nahil's low dunes area practicing climb, descent, steep descent and easy side slopes. We had three short breaks. We had a couple of second tries, few self recoveries, one rope recovery and one near miss, for which we stopped and had a lesson learned session. We completed the drive at 18:00.

Thanks to Advance drivers Volodymyr, Vipin and Marshals Isham and Hadi for supporting the drive. Volodymyr was remarkable as a sweeper.

We had a nice wind down to the weekend. Thank you all for joining and I look forward to meeting in another drive soon.

Get a lot of fun on this drive. Most of dunes crest recovered from the last heavy rain. And my position in the convoy allows me to play a little bit at dunes . Wait for the next weekend.
