Ramadan Iftar Drive (Qarouty) - Advance Convoy 2

Firstly, thank you to the event organisers for this all levels grand iftar event and to Qaruoty for the kind sponsorship.

This report is for the advance convoy 2 with the following drivers lining up at the start.

Chris (cmj1388) and myself - Explorers
Benn1969(John), Bitto(Ahmad) and afsal001(Syed) - Advance

The drive commenced with Chris as lead but after a short time an issue with his steering meant he had to leave the convoy, so I took the lead for the drive.

Our route took us initially east towards the gatch track and then drove south on the gatch before re-entering the dunes again heading west in the general direction of Nagra. We continued our play in this area which offered plenty of opportunities to practice our skills and as time progressed, we started heading back to the bbq point for Ifar, arriving just before 6pm.
